Foundation 214 is in search of effective tools to help improve the lives of children, the elderly and veterans of the various branches of the United States military through the vehicles of education and healthcare. 

 

Veterans

Foundation 214 is looking to help improve the lives of veterans and their families by supporting programs and initiatives involved in:

 

  • Education and Employment
  • Rehabilitation and recovery
  • Quality of Life
 

Children

Foundation 214 is in search of programs that support the health and education needs of school-aged children. Priority consideration is given to:

 

  • Middle School education including after-school programs
  • Basic needs and care such as food and shelter
  • Basic and specialty healthcare needs
 

Elderly

Foundation 214 wishes to help transform the experience of aging by providing opportunities to remain productive and improve quality of life. Primary considerations include:

 

  • Enabling adults (62 years of age and older) to remain in their home and community
  • Improve treatment of late life depression
  • Develop innovative responses to the family caregiving needs of older adults including healthcare and training
