Foundation 214 is looking to help improve the lives of veterans and their families by supporting programs and initiatives involved in:
- Education and Employment
- Rehabilitation and recovery
- Quality of Life
Children
Foundation 214 is in search of programs that support the health and education needs of school-aged children. Priority consideration is given to:
- Middle School education including after-school programs
- Basic needs and care such as food and shelter
- Basic and specialty healthcare needs
Elderly
Foundation 214 wishes to help transform the experience of aging by providing opportunities to remain productive and improve quality of life. Primary considerations include:
- Enabling adults (62 years of age and older) to remain in their home and community
- Improve treatment of late life depression
- Develop innovative responses to the family caregiving needs of older adults including healthcare and training
